N.C. Cooperative Extension offers Safe Plates for Food Managers for all those who work in the foodservice industry. The course helps food establishments meet the North Carolina requirement of having at least one supervisor certified as a food protection manager, per the FDA Food Code 2017.
NC Safe Plates is now virtual! The virtual Safe Plates for Food Managers course format allows participants to go through the content at their own pace with instructors available for questions and exam review. Participants in the virtual program receive 365-day access to the interactive course content and instructors throughout North Carolina.
