Running a successful farm today requires strong fieldwork and strong office systems. From tracking expenses and managing records to protecting data and communicating with customers, farm operations increasingly rely on both digital tools and sound financial practices.
Smarter Farm Offices is a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help small and mid-sized farmers strengthen the business side of their operation.
Participants will learn how to:
- Improve bookkeeping and expense tracking systems
- Organize digital and paper farm records efficiently
- Use simple technology tools to reduce administrative workload
- Protect financial and farm data from common scams and cyber threats
- Understand basic cash-flow and budgeting strategies
- Explore how emerging AI tools can support (not complicate) daily operations
This session focuses on clear, manageable improvements farmers can begin using immediately — without adding unnecessary complexity.
