This teaching garden is home to 17 individual themed gardens (Cottage, Crevice, Shade, Bird, Winter Interest, Pond, Native, Perennial, Rooftop, Zen, Vegetable, Fern, Herb, Jewel, Pollinator, Serenity, and Bog Garden). It is maintained year-round by a dedicated group of Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers and is open to the public for self-guided tours 365 days a year from dawn to dusk.

It is also where our Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers host multiple public events throughout the year! Join us on the second Saturday in June for Celebrate Pollinators Day where you can learn about pollinators and their importance to our environment. On the second Saturday in October, come out to the garden for Fall in the Garden! This event features displays from our Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers covering many different aspects of gardening. Come and learn and have some fun in the garden! And, don’t forget about the Great Southeast Pollinator Census! This is a multi-state event where you get to become a scientist for a day by helping count insects in the garden!
