About Me

Hello! I'm a recent graduate of Elon University where I studied Environmental & Ecological Sciences and Environmental Education. Originally from West Jefferson, NC, I'm excited to continue my career in North Carolina. I have previously worked at Elon University's Loy Farm and held various roles within the university's Office of Sustainability. Though I have sustainability and farm-centered outreach experiences, I'm looking forward to delving further into consumer horticulture and the Master Gardener Program. Outside of horticulture. I'm passionate about agroecology, food justice, and intersectional environmentalism.

Fun Facts

• Last month, I finished hiking over 1,000 miles of the northernmost half of the Appalachian Trail (That's me on Mt. Katahdin!)
• I studied abroad in Kimana, Kenya. Ask me about Maasai ethnobotany or agropastoralism!
• I love to cook and try new recipes. I am particularly fond of sweet potatoes, chickpeas, and sungold tomatoes.
