Gardening is a rewarding activity that nurtures creativity, can reduce stress, and promotes sustainable living right at home. Whether it’s a few houseplants or a full backyard garden, gardening offers meaningful experiences for all ages. In our Gardening Across Generations series, designed for families to take together, families will explore various gardening topics through a lesson, hands-on activities, and take home a special *project from each class to keep growing their skills together!

There is a cost per class per family (found below). Please only purchase 1 ticket per family. This will cover all adults and children in the family.

| Class 1: Vermicomposting/Composting Cost: $50 per family | Learn about vermicomposting and composting- how to do it, what you can put in compost bins, what you can’t put in them, and uses for the compost. Each family will make their own worm *bin complete with red wigglers to take home and start producing their own compost! | Monday, September 29th; 6:00pm-7:30pm | Class 1: Registration HERE by Sept. 19, 2025 |
| Class 2: Houseplant Terrariums Cost: $50 per family | Learn about different types of houseplants suitable for terrariums, different types of terrariums, how to care for them and a brief overview of houseplant propagation. Each family will have the opportunity to create their own *terrarium to take home and nurture. | Monday, October 6th; 6:00pm-7:30pm | Class 2 registration HERE by Sept. 21, 2025 |
| Class 3: Wildlife Cost: $35 per family | We will talk about different types of wildlife and you will have the chance to see some native wildlife in-person. Each family will paint a bluebird *house to take home and welcome wildlife to their yard! | Monday, October 13th; 6:00pm-7:30pm | CANCELLED |
