There are many methods in which our farmers market their produce. Some farms sell to local grocers, markets and restaurants; while others have their own roadside stands, sell direct from the farm, or do CSA programs.
Farms offer direct sales from the farm. This can be a great way to learn where your food is coming from as well as get to know the people you are supporting. If they are not busy bringing in the harvest, some farmers even give you a tour of their production. Others let you harvest your own produce, which is especially popular during strawberry season!
