TOUR OF FOLIE A’ DEUX GARDEN
***** We will meet at the gardens located at 8423 Mears Fork Rd, Summerfield, NC 27358 ***** Come and join us for a tour of the lovely private garden named Folie a’ Deux. The garden has been a labor of love and source of joy and entertainment for Craig Wagoner and Cindy Jones. Folie a’ Deux has many influences, a bonding of stone and plants is at the forefront, and an influence of Japanese gardens is present although not strictly adhered to; whimsy is also a part of the garden. There are collections and groupings and many outdoor rooms. Some are a work in progress, something all gardeners understand. The tour is rain or shine so dress appropriately. Comfortable shoes are recommended as you must be able to climb a few stairs and some inclines, and handle some uneven surfaces. The tour will last 2 hours and begin promptly at 10:00 am. We will meet at the gardens located at 8423 Mears Fork Rd, Summerfield, NC 27358. Tour guide is Cindy Jones, Edgefield Plant and Stone Center

Description: Join the NC Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Guilford County for a lively and informative gardening presentation each month through the fall season. These “Lunch and Learn” sessions are all scheduled from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm: no refreshments are provided, but participants are welcome to bring and eat lunch during the program. Take a mid-day break from your schedule and talk gardening with friends!

Does your indoor foliage collection look like an episode of “Desperate Houseplants”? Meeting their needs is not luck, or a talent you’re born with – just a little bit of information makes it easy and fun. The key is making the right selections, and learning a few simple steps to keep them thriving.
