PLANNING THE 3-SEASON VEGETABLE GARDEN
Vegetable gardening is especially productive in the Piedmont because we can grow food at least 10 months of the year! The key is good planning and succession planting. January is the perfect time to start getting ready; let’s talk about the many ways to get the most out of your personal planting space. One of the least expensive but most important tools for success in your vegetable garden is a good plan – as a part of this workshop, each participant will have the time and tools to work through developing ideas and plans for their own 3-season garden on paper. Bring a pencil with an eraser! Seminar speaker is Jeanne Aller, Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteer.
