This four-session short course will be held in April and offers four workshops focusing on a variety of topics.

April 7, 2020, 7–8:30 p.m.
Snacks provided. 
Preparing for a Natural Disaster
Dr. Mike Yoder, Associate Director & State Program Leader, 4-H; Coordinator: Emergency Programs

April 9, 2020, 7–8:30 p.m.     
Snacks provided. 
Obesity and Metabolic Issues
Dr. Shannon Pratt-Phillips, Associate Professor of equine nutrition in the Department of Animal Science at North Carolina State University.

April 14th,  7–8:30 p.m.
Snacks provided.

Jim Isley will be presenting about his ranch and association, North Star Ranch Horse, as well as discussing the ranch horse industry and its importance.

April 16th,  7–8:30 p.m.
Dinner provided and will start serving at 6:30 p.m. 
Nutrition and meeting your local feed distributors.
Come join us as we discuss the nutritional needs for your equine, and meet the local businesses that can meet your needs.

The Equine Short Course program is open to adults and youth. Limited to 50 participants. Program is free but online registration is required (register for each class individually).
