Extension Master Food Volunteers: Application Opening Soon!!

— Written By

Are you interested in cooking, nutrition, food safety, and food systems? You should join the Extension Master Food Volunteer program where you will be able to serve your community in all of these areas. The NC State Extension Master Food Volunteer (EMFV) program provides NC residents the opportunity to engage with their communities by supporting N.C. Cooperative Extension programming in the areas of nutrition, cooking, food safety, and food systems. The N.C. Cooperative Extension Service provides evidence-based information through community classes and events. In Guilford County, we need volunteers from our community members in order to address food insecurity/access, food/cooking illiteracy, chronic disease, and lack of physical activity.
