We’re Accepting Donations

N.C. Cooperative Extension Administrative Assistants Association hosts an annual statewide community service project. This year our project is called My Sisters. Period. The mission is to collect feminine hygiene products for homeless women and teens across North Carolina. In Guilford County, our products will go to the Family Shelter at YWCA where the ladies have access to a closet with feminine hygiene products. We often think of food, clothing, and shelter when we think of homelessness, but this basic need goes unnoticed. The reality is that our homeless sisters have to use unsanitary hands, sometimes unsanitary conditions, or choose between buying food or feminine hygiene products. Help us make a difference by donating today.  Drop donations off at the AG Center, 3309 Burlington Road until September 22. Donations can be but are not limited to:  pads, tampons, soap, sanitizer, wipes, panties, small squeezable bottles, washcloths, etc.
